A TIME FOR CHANGE MOVEMENT NEWSLETTER MARCH 2017
A Time For Change Movement
Newsletter March 2017
Every month we will be sending out updates, stories and plans for future endeavors in regards to the outreach. We seek to encourage and keeps you all informed on what we are doing each month.
What Happened in March?
> This past month, we had the opportunity to feed and share the gospel with around
80 homeless people in Northeast Florida. God is moving in amazing ways and
have seen many miracles happening!
> Tony has been homeless for 16 years and last Friday moved to a new home in Tennessee!
> Marcus is now in rehab, clean of alcohol!
> Steve now has a part time job!
Keith is a homeless man who likes the Doobie Brothers. When we were talking with him, he asked for prayers, that the Lord would help him have a pure heart and mind. He also walks with a cane, additional prayers for healing of his leg and hip.
What an amazing year we have had! There not only are homeless people hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, but people are desiring to come out more often and volunteer. What God is doing in peoples lives, the selflessness in Northeast Florida is absolutely amazing! Seeing the hearts of these people together, connecting the homeless and the volunteers, is such a beautiful thing. No longer will we allow financial struggles, addictions, mental disorders or any other type of physical, mental or spiritual indifference stand in the way of loving one another. Jesus' love is the one uniting us. Thank you Jesus!!!
Over the past 4 years, I have been walking the streets, doing outreach and searching for needy people to care for. As of March 2017, A Time For Change Movement has OFFICIALLY received its 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization status! And now that we have received that status, I am looking to go full-time into doing this ministry. What I am looking to do is raise $50,000. 60% of it will be going towards salary and the 40% towards doing the Movement. With this money, we will be able to feed more homeless people, purchase groceries weekly for needy families, spend time with the sick and disciple high school students. All of this, is with the focus of reaching the lost and hurting with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We at A Time for Change Movement all believe that true freedom, spiritually, physically and mentally, is found in nothing but the blood of Jesus Christ. We want to share that Good News with the poor and needy within our communities. This is a huge call that I have felt on my life and I know it is a big step in faith but there are more and more people who are being reached and more people who are looking to be on board with the Movement and it's very exciting!
Won't you join us as we seek to change this world?
What we are asking for is prayers and help with support. Please be praying for:
> The hearts of the people we are reaching, that they would come to know Jesus and receive His forgiveness, love and freedom
> For nothing but the love of God and His compassion to be the driving force of this Movement
> Guidance from the Holy Spirit in all we do
> That we would always seek to remain and trust in Jesus for all of our needs
> For an increase in volunteers and workers in the Southeast Region
> The hearts of donors as they help us fund-raise the $50,000
**We will be sending out our next email at the end of April. If you would like to get in touch, please visit us online at:
May you all come to know the love, peace and freedom found in Jesus Christ! May God bless you all!
